Draft — How to Become a Writer. Last updated: April 29, 2026.

By downloading or using Draft ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The service

Draft is a writing practice app that delivers daily prompts and tracks your writing streak. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We try to keep the service running smoothly but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

You own everything you write in Draft. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your writing solely so we can run the service (for example, syncing your pitch across devices and generating personalized prompts). We won't share or publish your writing.

6. AI-generated content

Daily prompts are generated using Anthropic's AI. AI output may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. You're responsible for what you write in response to a prompt.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee any specific outcome — Draft is a writing tool, not a publishing service or a guarantee of becoming a published writer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we change them materially, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
